Alright alright I guess this is an opportunity for me to get off it. Seeing you guys on here gives me inspiration.
So I'm relativley new to SF. I moved here in Sept to go to school. I have not been to Landmark since. I have been a Production Supervisor in LA for the forum and Integrity seminar. I did a great job and was invited to be in the ILP. "cool yeah whatever" I said as I was packing my stuff for Burning Man in August. I have since completed the application and spoken to people in LA (Kevin Dashner, Jason Landau) who told me to speak with people in SF as I would be doing it here. I'm realizing how on it I am right now. Im totally disempowered:
1) I dont know where the office is (easily found on the web)
2) I feel weird because I dont have my support structure in SF.(possible reason for writting this)
3) I am still looking for a job to be able to pay for the ILP ~$500? (any leads?)

*realization*
Man, I've not left the house in three days. okay then I'm going to go take a shower and go to temple on Carl st.
you know I really got to get out of my head (another purpose for writing this)

  • So, you're in a new town, looking for a new job, and without the kind of community support you're used to. You're out on the "skinny branches" in a lot of ways already and you're STILL considering the ILP?

That's pretty amazing. If I were in your shoes, my default approach would be conservative, on thing at a time, but you seem to be shooting for having it all. (Which can be a tired phrase, I know, but here it seems to apply.)

I acknowledge you for playing the game despite such unknowns in your current circumstances. Consider that the ILP is what's going to give you the support structure and the job. I can think of no better place to start building your new life in SF.
  • 1) I dont know where the office is (easily found on the web)
** The office is located at 44 Tehama. South of Market, inbetween first and second street, and one block from Howard. 415.882.6300 and ask for Henri (Hon-reii), tell her you are a friend of Grenache, and she can help you find your way.

    2) I feel weird because I dont have my support structure in SF.(possible reason for writting this)
** You have tribe.net and from what you wrote in your last post your friends from LA. I would love to have a conversations with you.

    3) I am still looking for a job to be able to pay for the ILP ~$500? (any leads)
** The Introduction Leaders Program does not require a lump sum like the other classes. You will only need to pay $100 per weekend for a total of four weekends. By the time you get to weekend number two, you will have found a great paying job. If you have $100.00, you will be fine. If not, you will find a way though your classmates.

** The next set of Classes start in February and will be one of the biggest in San Francisco history. There is talk of having one of the Forum Leaders lead a few of the classrooms.

** It's a great program and nothing like the other classes. Send me a message and I will give you my contact information.

*realization* Man, I've not left the house in three days.
** Go to the center and find some structure.
    • Hey Grenache!
ok so I just today called the center and left a message for (Hon Ray)
      Thank you for your support.
I think I'm going to go for it.
I have a commitment issue Im dealing with.
      blah.
hey give me a call and ill update you all whats going on.
      too much to type
      lol
